Rev. Keith H. Coleman (Executive Director)

Rev. Keith H. Coleman (Executive Director)

All of the work being done at “Headquarters” ( the Home Office) supported by the General Fund, is being done by the present staff on this page for the benefit of the missionaries. The Board pays modest staff salaries, retirees, taxes, and repairs on outside equipment and property.

The Board sends out the missionary Prayer Letters, “Thank You” and Appeal Letters, pays for mailing, sends out tax-deductible receipts for all monthly donations, takes care of the health and life insurance needs of the missionaries, prepares Prayer Cards and income tax reports—an incalculable help for those overseas, arranges missionary deputation schedules, promotes short-term mission teams, publishes an informative newsletter, magazine, and Prayer Calendar, buys and maintains office equipment, takes care of numerous emergencies on the fields such as travel, accidents, and death in the family, obtains visas, and represents the missionaries before foreign governments in legal and judicial matters. More and more nations are requiring that missionaries have a bona fide diploma of training, and/or ordination, and that they are sponsored by a bona fide mission agency. The Board also oversees the buying and selling of mission properties and lodging for those missionaries in transit.

The Home Office, supported by the General Fund, serves the churches, making it easier for them to give funds for different purposes, in an organized and accountable way; promotes missionary conferences as requested by the churches to give better exposure of the missionary’s needs and the Board also makes it easier to send individual missionary candidates to the churches through a coordinated, planned program.

The Home Office also visits colleges in search of recruits for full-time and part-time missionary service. A good, sound Board establishes confidence and assurance before the donors, the missionaries, the churches, and before the governments of the world, when the missionary has problems with his visa and permanent residence in certain countries.

The Home Office, supported by the General Fund, also maintains a close control of the pledges of every missionary so we can inform them when their donors stop supporting them, for one reason, or another.

Our office sends out to every missionary a financial statement each month which shows the names and addresses of every donor for that month, and also the amount, so that the missionary can thank each donor directly from the field for their support, every two months, as we have requested our missionaries to do. Our office maintains immediate access to the Support Account of every missionary, as well as any Project Fund for which they may be seeking to raise money. We pay our staff every two weeks, and our missionaries and retires, once a month.

All of the above “benefits” are supported by the General Fund which represents a caring ministry much more than any one couple can handle. We have also reduced our former office staff greatly, but we find that some of us have more work than we can handle even though we love what we are doing. Many, however, do appreciate the effort being done to serve the Lord in this way, and this gives us a deep sense of satisfaction and joy. Truly, our faithful staff has been carrying on a ministry of “helps” on behalf of our missionaries for the glory of God. (I Cor. 12:28b).

Also, YOU are the ones who have made this world-wide ministry possible. We thank God for those who pray, and for those who send a gift or a monthly pledge.

And, for those who are able, please remember us in your will. To meet our monthly budget of over $70,000, our General Fund still needs up to $10,000 more in designated, monthly pledges and gifts. Please pray for this need.

Let us all rededicate ourselves to the fulfilling of the Great Commission in this generation, in accordance with God’s will for our individual lives, through evangelism, church planting, discipleship, training of leaders, defense of the faith, undergirded by the prayers and financial support of God’s people.

The days are evil, the apostasy is fully upon us, but our duty is to work while it is day and occupy ourselves in doing His will until He comes again.
